Our Beginning
J.C. Lewis Ford began in 1912, when J.C. Lewis Sr. bought a Ford dealership. More than a century later, that beginning still shapes how we serve customers. We are not a short-term name in the market. We are a continuous family-held Ford operation with deep roots, a long record of adapting with Ford, and a practical understanding of what drivers need from their dealership.
That continuity matters because customers rarely need help only once. A shopper may start by comparing a new Ford, a used vehicle, a custom truck build, or a commercial vehicle. Later, that same customer may return for maintenance, tires, brakes, parts, accessories, trade-in planning, fleet service, upfit support, or the next vehicle.

Family-Held Operation
Family-held operation is most useful when customers can feel the difference in the process. At J.C. Lewis Ford, it means the dealership has stayed accountable to the same region for generations and continues to think beyond the immediate sale.
Vehicle Fit
We help customers compare vehicles by daily use, family space, towing, jobsite needs, cargo room, comfort, technology, payment range, and long-term ownership fit.

Savannah-area drivers bring different ownership needs to the dealership: city commuting, coastal weather, port-area travel, family trips, towing, business routes, specialty truck shopping, and service access. Our role is to connect those needs to the right vehicle, transaction path, and long-term support plan.
A Full-Service Ford Dealership
J.C. Lewis Ford is proud to serve Savannah, Richmond Hill, Wilmington Island, Skidaway Island, Port Wentworth, Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, and the broader Savannah-Lowcountry region. More than a century of Ford experience shapes how we help customers compare new Ford models, review used vehicles, plan financing, value a trade, schedule service, order parts, and explore accessories.
That support goes deeper for shoppers with specific needs. Eligible buyers can ask about remote purchase help and Southeast home delivery. Truck shoppers can explore specialty builds and work-ready options. Business owners can get support for fleet planning and upfit needs. Owners can return for Ford and Lincoln service expertise, dispatched maintenance tracking, heavy commercial service, and qualifying tire price-match support.
Customer Reputation
The J.C. Lewis family of dealerships has earned more than 13,000 five-star Google reviews groupwide. That number matters because reputation is built across many individual moments: the first call, the showroom visit, the test drive, the finance conversation, the service appointment, the trade-in discussion, the fleet repair, and the return visit when a customer needs help again.
We do not treat reputation as a slogan. We treat it as a responsibility to keep giving customers clear answers, useful options, and practical support through each stage of vehicle ownership.
Local Role
J.C. Lewis Ford’s community role comes from more than a long address on Abercorn Street. A dealership that has served customers since 1912 becomes part of the region’s daily transportation needs.
Our active community involvement reflects the same long-term commitment behind the dealership’s family-held operation. Local trust is earned through how we show up over time, how we treat customers when they need help, and how we continue investing in the region we serve.
